Very solid well made piece of furniture, very heavy , it was very dated with signs of wear and tear , it has now had a completed make over , the pine top was sanded down and stained and has 5 coats of a hard wearing satin varnish. The sides ,back and drawers have been decoupaged in a lovely floral theme to add contrast , these have been sealed in several layers of varnish almost giving a glass lacquered affect , the corners of the table have been kept wood and stained like the top , all the rest have been painted in black and varnish in several layers of sating , the feet are painted in gold .
